Audio Switcher 1.5.1

Introduction:
Audio Switcher is a MacOS X application operating from the menu bar that allows you to conveniently switch your current audio input/output device, instead of having to do so using the System Preferences application. It is designed to work with a device such as Griffin Technology's PowerMate. If you are using Powermate, it will list itself under under the Audio Switcher menu as "iMic USB audio system".

System Requirements:

Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger) or better

To install, drag the Audio Switcher application from the disk image to a convenient location on your hard drive. The Applications folder is a good place. If you would like to have Audio Switcher start when you login, add it to your login items in: System Preferences->Accounts(select your account)->Login Items. You can drag its icon into the login items window, or click the plus sign below the login items window and navigate to it in the Finder.

Double click the Audio Switcher icon to launch. Audio Switcher will place itself in the Status Bar.

When you click on Audio Switcher, it will display a menu listing all of your input/output devices, under the appropriate sub-menu, input or output. "Built-in Audio" refers to either your speakers or the Mac's built-in audio hardware.

Just select the item you wish to use, and Audio Switcher will make it the current device and a check mark will appear next to it in the Audio Switcher menu.

Preferences:

Selecting "Preferences..." from the Audio Switcher Menu will display the following dialog:

Audio Switcher can now be set to use a particular I/O device on launch or upon insertion of the device while Audio Switcher is running. Just check the appropriate box and select a default device.

If you want Audio Switcher to switch to the built-in Apple audio hardware when you quit the application, check the Input and/or Output checkbox and Audio Switcher will make the change when quitting.

A copy of this documentation is included on the disk image with Audio Switcher.

Mount Manager 1.0.2

Mount Manager is probably a bit obsolete now. The ability to mount remote volumes has now been neatly incorporated into recent upgrades of MacOS X. Its still available for those who want to try it out, or for those using 10.2 or 10.3, but I won't update it or actively support it anymore. You can check the FAQ page if you have any problems using it.
Mount Manager is a MacOS X utility which allows you to mount network shares with a single click of a mouse. Shares can be set to mount when Mount Manager launches, and with Mount Manager as a startup item, you can have your favorite shares mount when you log in.
Supports the following protocols:
AppleTalk (AFP)
Windows (SMB )
Apple's iDisk (MobileMe account required)
